At Compact, privacy is not an afterthought—it is the foundational architecture of our software. We believe your personal media is yours alone. We do not ask for, collect, or store personal information. The app operates without tracking your usage or reporting diagnostics to external servers.

Local Processing Engine

Compact is engineered to execute all media compression locally on your hardware. We do not upload, transmit, or cache your photos and videos on any external servers. The entire compression lifecycle happens directly within your device's memory.

Photo Library Access

Compact requires permission to access your Photo Library strictly for the purpose of reading the media you select to compress, and writing the compressed output back to your library. We do not scan your library for any other purpose.
